Enrollment in Swatantrya is simple. Download the form via the link provided below (it's in Word format).
You can either
- email the completed form to swatantrya@me.com, or
- print out the completed form and mail it to: Swatantrya c/o Doug Keller, 43601 Wembley Lane, South Riding VA 20152
There is a one-time fee of $30 associated with enrollment, which establishes your registration in the database. It is the basis for beginning to apply for credit for trainings and study.You can either include a check with your form as you mail it in (US checks only, please) or submit the fee online through Paypal.
There is no yearly fee for maintaining your participation in Swatantrya.
Commitment
It is not necessary to choose at the beginning which level of certification you desire. You are free to make your choices along the way, and there are also no time requirements for completion — you can take as long as your life and work situation allows.
Nor should you be concerned about when to enroll: you start from where you are, even if you are in the middle of a training program, and earn credits as you go.

Apply for Credits
After enrollment you can use this credit hour form to apply for credits
Your commitment is to your own growth. The program provides a structure for your pursuit of learning, and provides incentive and guidance in moving forward. It does not limit you to a particular style of practice or expression. You are not judged by your teaching style, and your own abilities as a teacher are not measured by the tastes of others. At each step along the way, you are simply asked to demonstrate that you know and understand what you have learned, and you are encouraged to be independent and self-directed in your process of learning.
Fee Structure
Your initial financial commitment is the one-time $30 registration fee. Other fees only arise with your applications for credit hours from workshops, trainings and independent study.
There is no fee for application for credit hours from workshops and trainings with me (Doug Keller) — only the credit hour questionnaire to fill out after the training.
There will be fees associated with the final exam and thesis projects, and the fees will be reasonable. In the case of the thesis, the fee will depend upon the degree of mentoring involved.
There is no overall ‘tuition’ for the Swatantrya program.
